“voluntary departure”

When an alien leaves the United States without an order of removal. Their departure may come after a hearing with an immigration judge. If the alien voluntarily departs, they will not have a bar to seek admission at a port of entry at any time. If they do not depart within the specified time, they will receive a fine and a 10-year bar to several forms of relief from deportation.
